Scheduled RYA Practical Sailing Courses

Our scheduled sailing courses are ideal for those who want structured learning in a small group environment. With a maximum of four participants per course, you’ll benefit from:

  • Courses run over five days for plenty of hands-on practice
  • Maximum of four students per instructor for personal attention
  • Opportunity for mixed-level training, where students can work towards different RYA qualifications within the same group
  • Comfortable yachts offering space to learn and relax

Private Sailing Tuition - Tailored to You

If you prefer one-to-one coaching or want to learn with your own group of friends or family, our private sailing tuition is the perfect choice. This flexible option allows us to tailor the training to your goals, areas you’d like to develop, and schedule.

We can focus on standard RYA syllabus training or dedicate time to specific areas such as:

RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course in Hamble

The RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course is a 2-day practical introduction to powerboating, run from our Hamble base near Southampton with direct access to Southampton Water and the Solent. With sheltered waters and varied training areas, it’s the perfect location for beginners to build confidence and learn essential skills.

On completion, you’ll be able to go afloat safely and can apply for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) without further training.
